I have rain today. It's different. It rains in the desert but it doesn't RAIN. Not like this. I don't love it or hate it. It does make me miss having a fireplace though.

no see here's the difference... it's raining here today too... but yesterday it was below freezing and today it's up about 40 degrees or so...
the snow is melting, I am not wearing my heavy duty parka and the streets, so far, are not iced up.
But a fireplace would be nice.
What I hate is the freezing rain and ice pellets coming down. Now that's ugly and dangerous too...
have a hot chocolate with Baileys...

It is cloudy here at work but I just heard from a friend who said it is snowing pretty good at home (hers not mine). They tend to get more accumulation over there so I don't know what I will have.
At least, as she says, it had to warm up to snow. I had -5 at my house again this morning.

Warm and humid today. Got to 60 degrees. Overcast most of the day. Nothing really to like, but it sure beats that crap that caused the electric to go out.
Yesterday was 45 degrees F abd all the snow on the ground melted...
...today, 1 degree (-2 with wind chill)...
I need me a Midwestern sweetie to keep me warm :-)

We did eventually get the snow in Anchorage making for a "fun" drive home. On the up side, it is now 21 degrees - 29 degrees warmer than when I started the day.
