what? no computer magazines? no Think Geek catalog?
LOL
You aren't home nor did you leave any computer magazines behind when you left. That's my story on that one.
I dunno where the Think Geek catalog is. Probably in the cave on the kid's desk.

I don't have 13 catalogs, so I'll do another 13 in the spirit of Cookie wanting interaction on her Blog:
13 Top British Comedies of the 1960s-2000s: (worst to best and Monty Python and Benny Hill are not in the running for simplicity sake ;-)...
13. Man About the House - the show that Three's Company is based upon - Chrissy is a brunette (and a hottie - Paula Wilcox) and Jo is the silly blonde - Spinoffs include Robin's Nest (Not Jack, Robin) and George and Mildred (The Ropers)
12. The Good Life (called the Good Neighbours in America) - 40 year old advertising man quits the rat race with his ultra cutie of a wife (Felicity Kendal) and they become self sufficient - turning their London suburbia home into a farm - complete with Geraldine the Goat - neighbors are on the up and up and the wife is a bit of a prude - great banter and inventive scripts!
11. The Young Ones - 4 college age kids who are in university, never go to class and just do stupid stuff all day long - very zany - there's a hippie, a prick, a metal head and a straight man (he's the weakest part) and the landlord is a crazy Russian ;-)
10. Not the 9 O'Clock News - 1980s. Enough said - short skits about news items (lots of Reagan and Thatcher) and a complementary song each episode (they spoofed ABBA!!!)
9. The Goodies - Oxform schoolmates of the Monty Python, these three guys open a business to "do anything anywhere" - Ina aword, ZANY! - they do everything from save the Crown Jewels to battle a giant kitten to save a lighthouse to go to the moon and turn into rabbits. Zany is all and the 70s music is catchy ;-)
8. One Foot in the Grave - Victor Muldrew is forced to retire - he's a security guard with a type A personality and nothing to do - one episode has him sitting on a parkway in traffic for hours and it's just hilarious to watch his blood pressure boil (especially of you can relate to that sort of thing:-)
7. Fr. Ted - A cool priest (everyone who knows a priest knows a cool one :-) who embezzles money and is shipped from his cushy Dublin parish to Craggy Island!!! He has a young stupid priest and an old drunk obnoxious priest to look after, lots of local characters and a nemesis cool priest on a parallel island (with parallel young stupid and old obnoxious priests in tow!) Just brilliant, slightly irreverent (ex-Catholics know what I mean ;-) and so so funny!
to be continued...
6. Absolute Power - you need to like EXTRA DRY comedy to appreciate this one - Stephen Fry plays a prick of a marketing firm genius who is able to market anyone anyhow - he gets thrown in Jail for his unorthodox ways (inventing a disease I think) and gets out an causes more of the same as he markets himself back to health - just brilliant but it will never be shown in America because it's WAY TOO SARCASTICALLY AND BRILLIANTLY BRITISH - LOL!
5. Black Adder I - Edmund is a fictitious son of the fictitious Richard IV - He mistakenly kills Richard II and his gather becomes king (turns out he's illegitimate anyway, but that is skirted!) Edmund eventually becomes king on his deathbed and history returns to normal as Henry Tutor takes the throne...
4. Black Adder II - there are 4, but the second one had Edmund as a lord int the court of Elizabeth I - (she's a hot but kooky redhead :-) HE and his faithful servants Baldrich (sort of an idiot savant) and Percy (another lord, but stupid) have all kinds of mishaps as Edmund tries to get ahead in the court - the queen digs him but she's pretty much insane so he stays away from her that way - and the Queen Mother is even more insane! Brilliant!
3. Butterflies (48 year old woman married to boring dentist who meets a divorce and is intrigued - they have a platonic encounter that drives her mad, but in the end she stays with her husband and he somehow gets his wife back - the sexual tension itself is enticing!)
2. The Fall and Rise of Reginald Perrin (Middle manager has nervous breakdown, fakes death, lives a hermit, comes back and starts a fad chain of stores hoping to fail but accidentally takes off - Hillarious!)
1. Coupling (makes the American "Friends seem tame :-) Jeff made the show and I still can't decide which girl is the one I want (but probably Sally after all - no! the Israeli woman Jeff meets, no Jeff's girlfriend and boss Julia, no Jane , no Susan! AAAGHGHGHHH! :-)
Lots of runners up:
The Office - British Style
Morcambe and Wise
Ever Decreasing Circles
Britta's Empire
Red Dwarf
Doctor Who (Tom Baker like a jester funny)
Mr. Bean (the earlier ones where Richard Curtis and Ben Elton were involved)
Alias Smith and Jones
A Bit of Fry and Laurie
Rising Damp
Are you Being Served
Black Adder III
Black Adder IV
Doctor in the House
Absolutely Fabulous
and so so so many more...
E,

For the record I do not want pity comments. No one should leave a comment if they are only doing so out of some sense of obligation.
I enjoy writing and putting things out on my blog but day after day of little to no feedback leaves a girl wondering if this thing is even on.
Comment if you truly want to. Anything else pretty much cheapens the experience, imho.

hmmm I don't have 13 mags I don't think - guns and ammo eh? Note to self - don't piss off the Blonde.
I have More mag, Vanity Fair too - we're so compatible, Canadian Living, Chatelaine, AMerican Libraries, Feliciter, Sears Catlogue not really a mag, and I went to a Pottery Barn store! how's that? (-:

T,
LOL! Yes, Guns and Ammo. It isn't mine {neither is the JEMS}. They belong to the kid. I do admit to looking at both and reading what I find interesting.
As far as not pissing off the blonde...I think you are safe. Others however...well...I did recently learn how to load the shotgun. ;-)
~ b
Yes, but can you jack it with one hand? *WEG*
