no, because when I forget and use them to wipe off my glasses, they get all messed up!

I would drink 7Up, Sprite or ginger ale only, if I had any, which most likely I do not - I would take Tums and chase it down with fresh water more likely...

I'll take my chances, no one comes that close to me these days anyway! And if they were sick I'd spray them with Lysol like Felix Unger!!! ;-)

What do you eat, if anything, when you are sick? usually hot soup, or toast and apple sauce lots of camomile or peppermint tea.

Do you use those tissues that have the lotion added? yep and the ones with Vicks infused in them too.

Dessert ~
Have you gotten a flu shot? regular, swine or both? Will you get either/both? I'll be getting a flu shot at work, the swine flu shot after they're done poking all the at risk people first, They have free clinics set up all over the city so we'll get to one of those. The Ex says we don't need to get the teen vaccinated.. I disagree heartily. Stay tuned.

ummm. Honestly I can't recall because I don't get sick. I am not even sick now. ;-)

Crackers. Chicken noodle soup. Cinnamon Toast. Peppermint Tea.

Ugh. No. I think they make the snot slide off the tissue. How is that helpful?

I haven't yet gotten a flu shot. I believe I have the swine at the moment so no point in getting that one. I will get the regular flu shot when I am recovered from this flu.

When was the last time you were sick enough to stay home? As opposed to a mental health day...hmmmm, it was probably February or March with flulike symptoms.

What do you eat, if anything, when you are sick? Can't say I remember. It depends on the sickess. Cold or flu only causes me to eat a little less but pretty much the same thing.
Salad ~
Do you use those tissues that have the lotion added? No. And I still have the first box of tissues by my bed that I bought after I moved here about 5 years ago.

Do you drink soda while sick? If so do you drink clear sodas only? Bubbles or no bubbles? When sick to my stomach, I have frozen coke. Other than that, I drink my crytal light packets in water bottle as usual.

Have you gotten a flu shot? regular, swine or both? Will you get either/both? I got a regular flu shot because I needed the point to get an extra $150 from my company's wellness program. But here is the funny thing. We have a benefits fair next week and they will be charging people $24 bucks a pop and I went to CVS and got one which my health insurance plan paid for. Will not get swine flu shot. I did get one in 1976 with my roommate at Villanova when Gerry Ford was president.

Christmas, two years ago. Didn't miss work I don't think cuz I was sick on the break.

What do you eat, if anything, when you are sick?
poached eggs on toast. When I am sick like Christmas past and am puking like a firehose, I go back to what my mom served when we couldn't keep much down - warm jello water. Yes, it sounds disgusting to some but it has calories, is very gentle on the stomach and coats raw throats and sore stomachs.

yes, they do slow down how fast your nose gets sore. It is the only kind I buy anymore. Some brands are better than others and don't leave your hands feeling greasy.

don't often drink soda but it is likely to be clear if I have it. bubbles are okay, they help settle the tummy sometimes. I vaguely recall flat coke being recommended but I don't know that I have tried that and I don't adhere to it cuz pepsi rules anyway.

I did get the seasonal flu shot. No reaction this year. it is likely I will get the H1N1 since it has been going around and has been in our building. It is also free (the agency pays for it) - so keep paying those taxes heh

For a whole day? I really can't remember.

If my stomach is unsettled, then I go for Coke and saltines. Otherwise, I either don't eat or eat only what I crave.

I have had the regular flu shot. My tier for receiving the H1N1 (politically correct over SWINE in my business) vaccine has not yet arrived. I will get it though.
