What do you wear on your feet when you are at home? Barefoot? Shoes? Socks? Slippers? a pair of Birkenstocks I love my birks but never to be seen outside the house!

How long does it take you to get out of bed in the morning? usually about 20 minutes or so except this morning when I had to be out of the house by 5:30 AM!

Do you talk to yourself? What do you talk about? Do you get answers? I ask myself stuff like WHERE did you leave that, I argue out things - I yell at the soon tobeX all kinds of stuff that would make people think I am a whacked out crazy middle aged catlady.

For two weeks in a row I have missed my favorite show of the week due to phone calls. What have you missed this week because your phone kept ringing? luckily, my phone doesn't ring that much... really. But I did miss Chuck this week because of phone calls from parish members angered by our so called annual meeting and the pastor's handling of it.

I am rarely barefoot even in the summer. I guess I prefer to have something on my feet. I wear any of the above but am most likely to be found in socks which I then just slip my flip flops on over the socks if I need to go into the garage or outside.

When the alarm goes off in the morning I usually roll over, shut it off and roll right out of bed. That's right. I'm a morning person. {Don't you judge me.;-) }

I do talk to myself. I talk about whatever is in my head. I do get answers. My kid yells at me from his room "are you talking to me?" I just tell him he is hearing things.

I missed Grey's Anatomy for the last two weeks in a row due to the girl phoning me minutes before it was set to begin. Last week it was for technical advice about the cheesecakes she was making. Last night she wanted company and had oh so many things to tell me. LOL! I gotta get her to phone me either a day earlier or an hour earlier. That being said; I did enjoy my chat with her. She is a hoot. I think she is a younger version of me. Oh. And when I phoned her back last night because I wasn't taking calls due to the start of my show she was quite happy to hear my voice and exclaimed "Thank Goodness you phoned back. I didn't really want to talk to Dad that much." LMAO!

socks or bare feet. It depends how I started - just out of bed, stay in bare feet; home from work, shoes come off but most likely not the socks unless I step in water near the dog's bowl that got drizzled on the floor.

Today the first alarm went off at 6:30, the backup went off at 7:10. I think I got up at 7:24.

sometimes. I don't think I am asking myself questions so much as just having a conversation or pep talk.

I have missed nothing. I am not locked into programming by others so when I get a call I just pause whatever I am watching or listening to.

So R, it takes you almost an hour from first alarm to feet on the floor. Totally not surprised. tee hee. What's a night person like you doing with a morning person like me?

And stop showing off with your ability to pause shows. I don't gots a dvr type situation. I missed my show. TWICE! Luckily I can go watch them both on the website. Which I plan to do tonight when you are at your geekynight.

I don't gots a dvr either. I just don't watch shows "live" anymore. I watch them on dvd or from iTunes. Or I am listening to an audiobook on the iPod.

Geek Night Rawks! Although, I have not heard from the engaged so it isn't a definite tonight (at the moment)
I don't always take that long to get up. It has been a week of late nights and I am just worn out. But this does make 2 out of the last 3 weeks where life has conspired against my getting sleep.
Morning people and night people meet for a little afternoon delight ;-) And besides, if there is a warm body waiting in bed, I will go earlier (vacay doesn't count cuz I am not having to get up in the morning to head to work).
