Yes,... I mean, NO.... I mean, MAYBE (LOL!)

(P.S. - that's a Monkeys' song - "Shades of Grey" - LOL!)

Soup ~

Thesaurus ("What's another word for 'thesaurus'?" - Steven Wright)

Have you ever crawled through a window?

Oh, yes, that's how I got in and out of the house without waking anyone up when I was in college and would get home late :-) Conveniently, I had a room in the basement with a private window and I was skinny (once) - I was cooler than Greg Brady! LOL

State: Alaska (no offense, but I need my day and night to come about a little more quickly and regularly - bad enough changing timezones...)

Country: France. There are enough other European countries to visit that I don't ever need to go there. Second choice: Belgium - because it's basically France anyways, just more obnoxious, AND it's a dirty word ;-)

b.Have you ever considered it?

I have unread and partially unread books all over the place. So, part 1 of a: yes, I stack my unread books, part 2 of a: no , I just keep on buying books, b: no, (to quote the Borg/Vogons) resistance is futile/useless ;-)

If she's cute, it would be,"April, how about dinner?" Seriously, though, my last words for this month are, "April, thank you for the opportunity to have dinner with Laura in Charlotte this month, it was sweet! And tell them to just hire me and screw all the roundabout process - they know they want to! LOL"

I see shades of grey. I am more likely than not to give the benefit of the doubt.

Soup ~
Which do you use most often: The dictionary or the thesaurus?
The thesaurus. I am always looking for another word for a word when I write.

Salad ~
Have you ever crawled through a window?
Why yes I have. That was the day when I broke the key in my door and had to find a way in. I was horrified to discover just how easy it is to break into my house that day. *sigh*

State: Hawaii. I don't care for too much sun or heat and think Hawaii is probably over-rated. There are so many other states I would love to explore that Hawaii is on my no thank you very much list. Country: Africa. It would probably be fascinating to see the wildlife and the culture but as I said above there are so many other countries I wuold love to visit. Italy being first on my list. Ireland is next.

b.Have you ever considered it?
a. Of course I have stacked them all up. I have used said stack as a Wordless Wednesday.
b. All the time. All.The.Time. My current book stack has no less than 10 books. And I just bought a new one last week. Don't you judge me. ;-)

Other than the kids {my girl, Rudy's boy and Miss Larissa} birthdays this month I truly have had no use for you, April. Do me a favour and go quietly. Thanks.

Soup ~
Which do you use most often: The dictionary or the thesaurus?
thesaurus... all the time.. though you';d neer lknow it from reading the blog. lol
Salad ~
Have you ever crawled through a window?
oh yeah... every time I lock myself out of the house, but now with new windows in the house... I'd have to break one to get in.

Entrée ~
What state and/or country do you have no interest in every visiting? {yes, you can choose both. You know I will. tee hee!}
state?
hmmm Georgia. Been there once - that was enough. Atlanta nothing to write home about and while Calloway Gardens is pretty... so are a million other places.
Country - any oppressed African nation - hold no desire to go see overwhelming poverty and suffering. I don't think I could handle it.

Dessert ~
a.Do you ever stack all your unread books, state that you will not buy another book until you read all the unread books first, and then actually read them?
b.Have you ever considered it?

All the time. I get most of my books from the library so when I actually buy a book, I can't read it because I have too many library books on the go.

What a lovely month we had. Fair weather, a birthday, and just decent. No animosity at all.

hmmm, probably bands of gray with hard edges. As I get older and more mellow, the bands get wider it seems.

Soup ~
Which do you use most often: The dictionary or the thesaurus?

the dictionary. especially when playing word games with blondie. That is SO not a word LOL

Salad ~
Have you ever crawled through a window?

yep yep. When the baby of the family came the older kids got bedrooms made in the basement. Huge rooms mind you, one for the boys and one for the girls and they had those small windows that would be illegal now for living space. kids could still get through them. especially with bunk beds stacked underneath heh

I don't know if there is a state I don't want to see. Flying to HI is no longer than flying other places from AK. but I have no real rush to get there either. I have other places to go in the winter now ;-)

I do have stacks of books. I also have shelves of books. I just don't take the time to read anymore. I have made that promise and as for books, I am doing pretty well. in a way. I now get audiobooks and listen to them on my commute.
