A peaceful night at home used to be music on in the background and open a book. Since I find it very difficult to concentrate on a book I usually will turn on the tv.
Tonight I have the tv off at this point but will turn it on soon to watch Susan Sarandon search for her roots on Who Do You Think You Are. Such a good show {except for the Brooke Shield's episode}.

I turn on the tv, one or more computers, possibly a gaming platform (xbox 360 most likely at the moment)
I get most of my books through my ear now on the commute.
