They are for different things - XMas Eve for hanging out with family and friends. XMas morning is ripping open presents (the more kids, the better ;-)

Egg Nog - preferably with brandy

Egg Nog? Really? I just can't get into the Nog. I did use to buy my Momma what she considered the best Egg Nog around every year though. I see it in the stores every year now and I remember. *sigh*

The delight in the eyes of the children. Nothing beats that, imho.

Silver and Gold. Majestic.

What gift would you want most this Christmas?
I am mostly content. I really don't have many wants. I wish that Rudy could join us this year. What I really want is for my siblings to grow up and stop treating me like I am an outcast. That would be a great Christmas present for me and my kids.

Christmas Eve or Christmas morning?
Christmas Morning because that is when I have a house full of my kids. They spend Christmas Eve with their father, show up at my house extremely late, head straight for the booze and then unwind before going to bed. Christmas morning I bake cardamon rolls using grandmas recipe and we open presents leaving the mess in a corner of the room until later in the day. I usually spend my Christmas Eve alone, finishing up the wrapping and then settling down to watch a Christmas movie with a nice glass of wine. Definitely Christmas morning!

What is your favorite holiday drink?
My favorite holiday drink has to be the Disgruntled Elf which I always try to have at least once during the holidays at Red Robin. Ingredients include
Gin
Jose Cuervo Gold Tequila
White Rum
Triple Sec
Granny Smith apple syrup
Sprite.
mmmm. SO good. And once you drink it you really aren't that disgruntled anymore. Either that or you just don't care. tee hee!

eggnog (maybe with a kiss of rum) but I don't think it likes me anymore LOL
I was waiting for a ride this AM as my car is in the shop... Something about 5 year old batteries not lasting long in sub-zero climates and making the car computer not even get through diagnostics, let alone have heat! ;-) So I thought I'd check here in AM prior to coffee to see what was what;-)

What gift would you want most this Christmas?hmmm I am not really sure. Since L's transplant I am not so much about the gifts. Just the gift of health and time to enjoy life.
