I sleep with the TV on. I have done so for many years. Well. Unless Rudy is here and then I listen to the melodious rhythmic sound of his gentle snoring. ;-)

I don't believe that people ever change their core being. They may attempt to hide behind a facade but eventually who they are deep inside always comes out.

Fake. I normally have it up too long that it would be too much maintenance. Also, don't want to confuse the pack and make them think I had brought the toilet indoors.

I don't 'need' noise but I often listen to music. Audiobooks are likely to engage my brain and keep me focused and awake. Same with TV. Yet, I can and often do fall asleep in front of the TV. go figure.

Non-existant - I don't have one because it's just me and not worth the expense and trouble. Plus I'm gonna be in NY and won't enjoy it anyways, but my parents, whose tree I do share at XMas, have a real one every year!

Usually, after having lived in the Bronx for about a year, I can sleep through anything. Except if people are talking loudly outside coming back from the bar - if they wake me up all bets are off. Did I mention that people in Iowa aren't used to hearing someone yell - "It's 2AM! Shut da F__K UP!"? But it works :-) LMAO!
