I am still a fan of the original first three... of those... I'd have to say the last one when Luke finds out that Darth Vader is his father.. THat was tough. very tough.

1) Empire Strikes Back - lots of dark psychology and politics there there... 2) Return of the Jedi - redemption and Leia in a leather biini! oh, yeah! 3) A New Hope - Obi Wan - we find out just how cool he is later, but he's really cool here - plus it's just an all around great movie 4) Attack of the Clones - "around the survivors a perimeter create...", lots of office politics and forbidden office romance in the ranks - sigh... 5) The Phantom Menace - Ani's mom is not so bad looking if she just had a little bit of makeup... And introducing - Natalie Portman (he's too young for you yet! - LOL) 6) Revenge of the Sith - ok, we get it, Anakin was bipolar and got in with the wrong crowd... Can you say, Lithium? pop him some Welbutrin and you got no movie;-) on the good side, Yoda saves the movie through all the predictable conclusions of the office politics by whammying those two big ass red guards - YEAH, BABY, YOU BAD!!!! LOL
And wtf was Lucas thinking with Jar Jar??? ugh - Ewoks were cute and cool - go with that if you ever make Episodes 7, 8 and 9... (you're 10 years overdue because you got sidetracked by American Grafiti and Indiana Jones!) And wtf with these cartoons? They suck.

I am glad that Lucas finished the Saga for us but I am also a fan of the original 3.
Of those 3 The Empire Strikes Back is my absolute favorite.
I think it might be time for a Star Wars marathon.

I love the appearance of Yoda so I would have to say that Empire is my favorite as well. I do like the Ewoks as well.
The problem I had/have with the "prequels" is that we already know Annakin is going to be Darth. The dramatic tension was missing.
Heh, I wondered why I had this overwhelming desire to wear my "come to the darkside, we have cookies... -V" shirt today. how appropriate!
