my official harbingers of spring, the canadian geese pair that nest along the highway I drive to work, have arrived and were spotted yesterday.
I look forward to seeing the fluffy little ones in the weeks to come. Although, I must say that I worry incessantly because they are so close to the highway. Every time I see a new "grease spot" on the road I worry that it may have been one of the little ones wandering off.

Maxwell the bunny and his beau 99 seem to be happy back there too...
The birds are as obnoxious as ever...
None seem to have hibernated too long this winter - I wonder if they know they should out here in Iowa...
All animals accounted for ;-)
