Thursday Thought.

"We men love your bodies: your real bodies, not the bodies we see on TV or in movies. It's not just one thing that makes you the center of our universe — it's all of you. We'll deny that we ever bought a John Mayer album if you try to get us to admit it in public. But the guy was right about one thing — your body is a wonderland. Period."

So girls, What do YOU think? Sure, it sounds good on paper but do you think guys feel this way or is it just some pretty words that they say to GET us into bed.

{calm down guys. I am attempting to get a discussion started not accusing any of you of having a line.}

Seriously. Discuss.

Considering not many guys get the chance to spend time with models, super models or playboy bunnies, I'm sure they say it and believe it, all the while fantasizing.

Maybe they should look in the mirror too, as we are all products of a greater image.

I refuse to be held accountable for all men but for me, it is not just a line to get you into bed.

I can see how that would be the perception from your end. I am sure a lot of guys do use it like that.

For the guys that are sincere and you suspect them - could it be that it is because you don't have a good self image and find it hard to believe we mean it?

That applies to guys as well. It is hard to receive compliments sometimes and when we look in the mirror it is possible to wonder if the other person is under the influence LOL

I think that the "Model" craze is rediculous. Only a tiny percentage of women actually look like that and most of them have jobs as models LOL

It wasn't always that way. check out classic paintings where voluptuous, curvy women were very much desired as healthy. All skin and bone was a sign of someone who wouldn't be a good mother.

depends on the guy. I think the more self confident and staright up the guy is the liklier that the wonderland thing is true and believable.
if the guy is - like the soon to be ex - more gratified by watching porn and has bizarre ideas in his head than his wonderland will never match reality - or he won't be able to enjoy the ride he's on -
You can't enjoy what's in front of you if you've got an idea in your head something being better, hotter, different elsewhere right? And that's not just a guy thing, that's a person thing.

People living real relationships enjoying each other that all levels would probably get this a whole lot better than those who think fantasy land is a better place to live.

Who the F()C& is John Mayer? He must be part of Coldplay or something because I have almost 14,500 songs on my iPod and ZERO clue about either :-) And I think that the last word of the quote says it all - PERIOD (present company not targeted on this one at all). and yes, that is the day I've had today!!!!
