Ice. Broken piece actually that the kid pulled out of the birdbath. I micro-zoomed in on it and that is the result. Looks really neat, doesn't it? I am amazed at how different the 4 spikes are.
Not photo-shopped per se other than to crop and remove all the colour. The colourized version just didn't do the spikes justice.
