Have you ever been to Disney {Land or World}? If so, what was/is your favorite ride?
My first visit to Disneyland was when I was 16. I have been to the happiest place on earth many many times since then. More so now that the marrieds have their silver pass and they get me in for free. I think my very favorite ride would have to be Peter Pan. The line is long, the ride is short but the day doesn't seem complete without at least one turn on it.

I am not only watching the Olympics every day but also have an Olympics NBC application on my iPhone to keep up throughout the day. My favorite event thus far has been the new ski cross event. That is wild!

I can hear my church bell chimes blowing in the breeze outside my back door. Very pretty. {Rudy bought them for me last September when we were in San Diego. TY, darlin!}

been to 'World twice and 'Land for the first time on wednesday. 'World was so long ago and the kids were young so our activities were geared in that direction. I think we had the most fun in the imaginarium. At 'Land, I think Soarin' was my favorite but I have to say that there wasn't one I didn't enjoy. Peter Pan was cool and the effects were very good but the wait to ride ratio was too far off to make it a repeat for me ( and this was on a good day LOL)

yes. I think the ones I have enjoyed the most have been the 'cross events. ski and snowboard both

silver - stupidity should be painful, it cuts down on repeats.
bronze - be the peace you want to see in the world (borrowing from Ghandi)

Been to both! I LOVE the Bear Jamboree and Pirates of the Caribean. I don't like roller coasters so I am not a big fun of those.

turned the cell phone off a couple of weeks ago. Not missing it at all. Internet access less than a day I think.

Have you ever been to Disney {Land or World}? If so, what was/is your favorite ride?
Never been to Disneyland in CA. First time in Florida, when I was 3, there was no Disneyworld yet, so we saw Shamu instead :-) First time I saw Disneyworld was when Ian was 2 for it's 25th anniversary - the castle was decorated in pink that year... It's the last trip we took as a family and if you fight at Disneyworld, something is terribly wrong... Favorite ride was NOT It's a Small World at 7AM with no coffee - can you say information overload? Sheesh! I'm not generally a rides person anyways, but I did enjoy starting at one side of Epcot and having a beer in every country all day long, ending with a half a yard of Bass, which some lady of English persuasion insisted I drink properly ;-)

Every bar I go in has frickin' curling on! LOL! And it's addicting! As an added bonus, the cameraman last night had a thing for the redhead with the likker gorgeous blue eyes on the Canadian team - wow! :-) (Red hair is made from Kryptonite, I'm convinced!)
